as part of the Library Day
A Social Reading Party is a gathering where all participants come together in a relaxed atmosphere to read simultaneously. Each person brings their own book and immerses themselves in their own reading during a shared, silent reading time.
After this phase of individual reading, the focus is on social interaction: The group shares impressions, thoughts, or recommendations, gaining insights into very different stories and genres. There's no pressure, but plenty of inspiration.
- From 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., everyone reads—each reading their own book.
- From 5:30 p.m. onward, they discuss the reading.
No registration required!
Just bring a current book (or pick one up from the library) and come along!
