Works by Renata Camaro 1955–2008
With around 50 works, the Camaro House is dedicating an exhibition to the artist Renata Camaro. Under the exhibition title "Off-Road — in open terrain," the focus is on works that are representative of Renata's creative period between 1955 and 2008.
The title comes from a late collage in which Renata refers to a turning point in her life: in 1962, Renata was involved in a car accident and was seriously injured. Her promising career came to an abrupt end.
Away from the art world, she created a multi-layered oeuvre over the following decades that revolved around her own healing and her struggle for emancipation.
The exhibition runs from 23 January to 27 March 2026 at Camaro Haus.
The exhibition opening on 22 January 2026 at 6 p.m. will be accompanied by music from Señor Depressivo. With chansons from the first half of the last century, he expresses his sorrow, sometimes on the piano, sometimes on the ukulele.
Opening hours:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 1-5pm
- Thursday 1-8pm
- Closed on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and public holidays
