Massive grooves, pushing guitar licks, pounding basses and Joshua Homme's unique vocals between raw power and an enormous sense of melody are the hallmarks of Queens of the Stone Age. The desert rock legends, founded in 1996 by frontman Joshua Homme, present songs with rough edges and without any compromises with their new record and thus a return to their original strengths.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE
Welttournee „The End is Nero”
The sound and the mindset behind it as well as the song lyrics belong to the rawest and most biting that the rock giants have released so far. The previously released single “Emotion Sickness” bears witness to this.
Fans of the world's dominant contemporary rock band had to wait six long years for new music. "In Times New Roman..." is the name of the new eighth album by the Queens of the Stone Age! Alongside Joshua Homme's good friend and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons was also part of the recording sessions.
Despite this great anticipation of another Queens album, one thing is absolutely certain: when the Queens of the Stone Age enter a live stage, no t-shirt stays dry. Their shows are far too powerful and overwhelming for that.
