Johanne Kippersund, currently one of Norway’s most exciting rock singers and composers, will give one of her rare concerts on the continent at Zimmer 16. Performing as a duo with guitarist and producer Ørnulv Snortheim, she presents “Letters” — the fresh third album by Paper Crown, following “Dreamers” (2021) and “Half Bad” (2023).

Johanne’s voice soars above timeless rock and pop songs that combine captivating melodies, emotional depth, and Scandinavian joie de vivre. The scene also reveres Johanne (who is also co-operator of a private theatre in Hamar) for her high-energy performances at the helm of the progressive art-pop band MEER.
At times delicately reminiscent of the Beatles, yet always unmistakable, Paper Crown deliver the perfect ingredients for an exciting evening with their inspiring indie pop-rock. The concert also marks the opening of Paper Crown’s first German tour.
