No other musical genre was shaped by Jewish composers and librettists like the operetta. Of those who created countless masterpieces, not a few were persecuted by the Nazi regime, driven into exile or murdered like Fritz Grünbaum or Fritz Löhner-Beda. The latter even wrote the lyrics to Hitler's favorite song "Dein ist mein ganzes Herz".

Andrea Chudak (soprano) and Felix C. Groll (baritone), accompanied by Wei Chen (piano) recall the great men of operetta with wonderful songs and duets from Paul Abraham's "Flower of Hawaii", Raplh Benatzky's "In the White Horse Inn", Jaques Offenbach's "Orpheus and Euridice", Oscar Straus' "A Waltz Dream", Emmerich Kálmán's "Czardasfürstin" and many more.
