Scenic choir concert with puppetry

What do we hear when the moon touches the city? Under the direction of Carolin Strecker, the chamber choir cantamus.berlin, together with Christine Zeides (speech and puppetry) and Christoph Enzel (saxophone), creates a poetic sound theatre around the moon, a place of longing.

The moon...
the evening hangs beneath the moon

What do we hear when the moon touches the city?
The programme ranges from Brahms and Schumann to Radiohead, Sköld and Genzmer to contemporary soundscapes by Whitacre, Briggs and Ešenvalds. Urban fragments and classical choral sounds combine to create a narrative about the space between sleep and wakefulness, light and darkness, proximity and distance.
