Chamber Music and Piano Works by Mendelssohn, Krása, Fanny Hensel
Elena Bashkirova, pianist and President of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Foundation in Leipzig, is inviting fellow musicians to the Mendelssohn Festival in the Pierre Boulez Saal for the second time - just a few streets away from the composer's former childhood home in Berlin.
In addition to Felix and his sister Fanny, the focus is also on 20th-century Jewish composers such as Hans Krása, Viktor Ullmann and Gideon Klein, whose works were written under the most adverse circumstances of persecution and extermination by the Nazi regime.

- Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy - Piano Trio No. 2 in C minor, Op. 66
