Works by Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Korngold

When Felix Mendelssohn published his Piano Quartet Op. 1 in 1823, the 14-year-old could already look back on an impressive oeuvre of around 100 compositions. Together with his sister Fanny, he is undoubtedly one of the greatest musical prodigies in history.

Elena Bashkirova dedicates her third Mendelssohn Festival in the Pierre Boulez Hall to the fascinating talent of the young composer.

He will be joined by works by two other exceptional artists:
Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – presented by Bashkirova and first-class chamber musicians.
