Lukas Meister is an exile from Freiburg, a Berlin resident by choice, a songwriter, and a word acrobat. In his lyrics, he deals with the really big questions: Where should one definitely travel to, and why not to Berlin? How can one make the end of the world as pleasant as possible? One hundred euros – how much is that in melons? And what does the world look like from the perspective of a snowflake?

Between songs, Meister climbs rhetorical-humorous heights, rambles about partner loyalty cards and bar counter conversations, blurs the lines of musical cabaret, before picking up his guitar again, which he masters with virtuoso skill. Along the way, he adds a pinch of melancholy or a detour into Italian – it is guaranteed never dull!
