When Schmalzfleisch enters the Boulingrins' living room, he thinks he has found paradise for himself. He wants to spend the winter for free in the bosom of bourgeois perfection. But behind the home's pristine facade, hell opens up to him.
The inclusive RambaZamba Ensemble discovers the creative potential of destruction in Courteline's 1898 comedy and uses wordplay and slapstick to deal with bitter little things that, however, point to the deep abysses of interpersonal relationships.
