Art, performance & cuisine

At the Lost Art Festival, the old walls of a 100-year-old light bulb factory will be brought to life one last time for just three days before they disappear in their raw form.

There are fewer and fewer abandoned places in Berlin. After four years of intensive searching, the team that recently transformed a vacant four-star hotel into a temporary exhibition with ‘The Dark Rooms Hotel’ has now found a very special location: a 100-year-old light bulb factory in Berlin-Spandau.

Visitors walk through this huge structure of concrete and time – silently. Heavily. Full of stories.

The Lost Art Festival 2025 unfolds over 19,000 square metres – three times larger than its last edition in 2021. In 14 halls, visitors can expect a programme of monumental light and sound installations, live electronic acts and performances.

Amidst all the flickering, another world emerges: hidden bars with whispering voices, sophisticated pop-up restaurants. Berlin chefs create moments of pleasure that surprise – a culinary programme that winds its way through the space and carries guests away.
