The Scheunenviertel

The Scheunenviertel was considered the city's 'slum district.' This is where easy girls supposedly had fun with hard boys. Or vice versa, or with each other. Small stories evolved into grand theater and grandiose cabaret, which was an inspiration for the culture of the Scheunenviertel.
