Many Voices - A Day of Singing, Connection and Celebration

The Instrument of the Year 2025 is the voice. Jocelyn B. Smith, the internationally renowned singer, transformational coach, and this year's patron of the Instrument of the Year, along with friends from the Berlin music scene, invites you to spend a whole day singing together at St. Peter's Church and celebrating the power of the voice!

Spread out throughout the day, there will be sessions – often in one-hour blocks – led by various singers, choir directors, and vocal coaches: practical warm-up exercises, singing songs together, harmonies, call-and-response, simple songwriting, body percussion, and vocal improvisation. The styles range from gospel, jazz, pop, rock, and beatboxing – there's something for everyone!

The event is open to anyone who loves to sing and is curious to explore their voice – whether you want to join for just an hour or stay the whole day. It's about trying things out, having fun, getting to know people, and experiencing the power of singing together.

Just bring your voice, curiosity, and an open mind!

Everyone is welcome to this open and supportive community project, and above all, the day is meant to be fun.

Come along and join in for as long as you like!
