With Amanda Beech, Davide Deriu, Maria Auxiliadora Galvez Perez, Warren Neidich, Dimitri Venkov, Catherine Yass, introduced and moderated by the Iliggocene’s curators Ruth Anderwald, Sergio Edelsztein and Leonhard Grond.

A panel discussion with artists, curators, and researchers who introduce Iliggocene – The Age of Dizziness, an expansive project which features a discursive program, screenings and performances across Berlin institutions, as well as an exhibition at KINDL Berlin.

In times of polycrisis, the acute experience of a continuous state of exception leads to a confusing and frustrating condition, characterised by an inadequacy of language and other forms of connective possibility and contextualisation.

Iliggocene – The Age of Dizziness proposes artistic positions that seek new vocabularies for these states of dizziness, reflecting on them as conditions of unpredictability and uncertainty and considering how they might shape the societies we are building. The panel considers infrastructure under shifting political, technological, and ecological pressures, asking what visions for a sustainable future might be possible.

Curated by Sergio Edelsztein, Ruth Anderwald, and Leonhard Grond, the panel is followed by a screening with Videoart at Midnight.
