On November 9, Germany remembers, among other things, the nationwide Jewish pogroms on November 9, 1938. The themed tour focuses on early depictions of the Holocaust and shows how survivors themselves made their history visible.
bjects are presented that bear witness to Jewish perspectives on the Nazi violence, such as the film recording with a report by survivor Hela Goldstein, which links personal experiences with collective history.
The tour also looks at how the anti-Semitic dimension of Nazi crimes was often suppressed in the immediate post-war period and what influence this suppression had on commemoration.
- max. 25 people per tour
