A castle in the Britz district of Neukölln

The manor house (Schloss Britz) and the surrounding lands were owned by high-ranking noble state officials for a long time. The most famous landowner was Count von Hertzberg, who was a minister during the reign of Frederick the Great.

At his request, he is buried in the Britz village church.

Located in the center of today's Neukölln district, the ensemble of village church, village pond, former village school, Britz Castle as well as the estate park and estate is unparalleled in Berlin. Compared to North Neukölln, you feel like you are in a completely different world here.
