Scholarship Final Exhibition
Twelve artists from eight European countries dedicated themselves for ten months to this year's theme »LINGUISTIC XPEDITION« of the Fresh A.I.R. scholarship programme. The participants of the 8th year revolved around the speech act as a constitutive element of human perception and communication.

The artistic exploration of aspects such as everyday language use, verbal language actions, language thinking and language action and, in particular, the structural power of language, produced multifaceted results.
Colourful, loud and impressive, the artists' sculptures, paintings, illustrations, photographs, installations, drawings and audiovisual contributions show that communication can also fail, be ambiguous and onomatopoeic, obscure and distort.
