ABOUT THE SYNOPSIS:
Enric Marco was a deportee who never existed—a man who, for years, managed to maintain an almost unimaginable lie to the public and even his own family: that he had been a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp.
Charismatic and convincing, Marco rose to the position of president of the Spanish Association of Holocaust Victims, where he became a prominent and admired figure for his alleged courage and suffering. Until one day, a historian discovered that his story was completely fabricated.
Actor Eduard Fernández has received the Goya Award and many other awards for his outstanding portrayal of the character Enric Marco Batlle.
