Journalist Charles Clover spent two years travelling around the world to find out why more and more fish are disappearing from the oceans. A central theme of the film is the impending extinction of tuna, triggered by the rising demand for sushi in Western countries.
“Informative and entertaining, serious but not hopeless” – this is how the German Film and Media Rating Board describes the documentary.
The film combines compelling investigative reporting, insights from researchers and stunning nature footage. It clearly illustrates why we urgently need to make changes and what each and every one of us can do to protect marine biodiversity.
