12 Improvised Études
The 12 Improvised Études explore aspects of Scriabin's approach to sound design. Expressive intensity arises from harmonic ambiguity, color, and inner tension. The études develop with increasing momentum, becoming vibrant, dramatically expressive, and urgent—with a rhythmic pulse and sharp accentuation; oscillating between veiled fragility, late-Romantic lyricism, and energetic intensity.
- Set 2: “12 Improvised Études” (inspired by the late works of Alexander Scriabin)
- Isabel Anders – Piano Solo
Alexander Scriabin was born on January 6, 1872, and died on April 27, 1915
