Art Up Now

Art Up Now at Projektraum Bethanien presents the group exhibition FERNWAHR. Ten Berlin-based artists present works from the fields of painting, drawing, photography, installation and video that mediate between observation, distance and future perspectives.

The title FERNWAHR bridges the gap between longing and insight. What becomes apparent when one gains distance? What remains true when one's view broadens? Between poetic distance and precise observation, works emerge that question the present and make the desire for change tangible.

On display are works by Paula Carralero Bierzynska (painting), Manuela Johanna Covini (installation, participatory projects), Sofiya Dimitrova (drawing, installation), Niall Dooley (painting), Natalie Fellhauer (painting), Kutay Gülaydın (photography), Michael Hess (sculpture), Nikos Kalaitzis (painting), Sarah Mayr (photography, sculpture) and Tatiana S. Vasilyeva (painting, drawing). The exhibition was curated by Dr Helen Adkins.
