Activities involving windmills, waterwheels, and more

On "Energy Adventure Day", the Museum Park at the German Museum of Technology showcases the energy sources that people have always used. Highlights include two windmills, a blacksmith’s shop powered by a waterwheel, small steam engines, portable solar power systems, and much more!

Noisy, bustling, and with the sky filled with steam—that’s what the Museum Park looked like around 1900. At that time, the area was part of one of Berlin’s largest transportation hubs, the Anhalter Betriebsbahnhof.

Stop by and learn more about energy then and now! This event is part of the Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival.

Additional information
