To mark Emilie Fontane's anniversary, the Huguenot Museum is presenting the exhibition "Emilie200" about the life and work of Emilie, Theodor Fontane's wife.
The exhibition offers a special insight into the life and work of Emilie Fontane (1824-1902), the wife of the famous writer Theodor Fontane, whose 200th birthday is being celebrated this year.
Using rarely shown original documents, both her eventful biography and the multitude of roles and tasks she took on over the course of her life are illuminated.
