will discover botanical peculiarities like spontaneous vegetation, pioneer
plants, but also wild herbs and
medicinal plants. In addition, you will get an overview of the future landscape
and nature reserve, its goals and development processes. You will learn about
the urban ecological importance of large undeveloped open spaces and their
ecological interrelationships.

Participation
in the tours is only possible if the following instructions are observed: The former
airport site is currently a construction site contaminated with explosive
ordnance and may only be entered under the supervision of authorized persons.
Appropriate safety measures apply, which will be communicated by the group
guide on site and must be observed. These include, among other things, keeping
the group together as well as the prohibition of entering/driving on areas off
the paths specified by the group leadership. Unauthorized departure from the
group or violation of the rules set by the group leader will result in
immediate exclusion from the tour. Parents are responsible for their children.
Closed shoes and clothing suitable for the weather are required for
participation. Your own high-visibility vest, a valid photo ID and punctual
appearance are essential requirements. Please have your ticket and ID ready for
admission. Please note that the bike tour may cover about 9 km and that you can
expect a guaranteed headwind on the airfield. We also recommend adequate sun
protection and your own food and drink.
