HITS, SCHMALTZY TUNES & selected ROCK EVERGREENS

Dieter's guitar case opens and the beautiful, ideal world of German economic miracle pop music rings out. You experience a rapid, turbulent journey through time across three exciting decades.

The 1950s, 1960s and 1970s were quite something: cooking with Vico Torriano, chasing gangsters with Edgar Wallace, sex education with Oswald Kolle, riding high with Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, Ariel Clementine and other clean-cut men, Robert Lembke's ‘Was bin ich?’ (What am I?). A trip to London with an umbrella, charm and bowler hat, the current sports studio with Wim Thoelke, the amazing moon landing and the legendary ZDF Hit Parade with fast-talking Dieter-Thomas Heck.

Switch on the time machine with ‘DIETER alias THE COCK’ and travel with us from the staid early 1950s to flower power and Twiggy, the bourgeoisie's shock in a miniskirt!

Germany's 1950s to 1970s viewed through colourful glasses - and as always, ‘Dieter alias The Cock’ manages to capture the spirit of the time with a wink and a good dose of irony.

And the whole thing is rounded off with a selection of rock and pop classics!
