Experience the festive Christmas atmosphere at the Museum of European Cultures in Dahlem! The enticing scent of Christmas spices fills the air, inviting you to linger.



Visitors of all ages can create their own Christmas cards. Let the No Ka Hoʻomanaʻo Ana Ia Berlin association show you how to make Lauhala stars using Hawaiian braiding techniques. In the café, bake and decorate delicious cookies with eßkultur.


Admire the mechanical Christmas pyramid from the Ore Mountains with its impressive 328 figures and be enchanted by winter fairy tales from around the world.


To conclude the day, everyone sings together, bringing this special day to a close in a festive atmosphere.

12:00 to 3:00 pm | Christmas Card Making (Workshop with Anna Kott)

1:00 pm and 2:30 pm | The Mechanical Christmas Mountain from the Ore Mountains (Guided tour with Christine Riegelmann-Nickolaus)

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM | Cookie baking and decorating with eßkultur

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM | Lauhala – Crafting stars using Hawaiian braiding techniques (Workshop with the association No Ka Hoʻomanaʻo Ana Ia Berlin)

2:00 PM and 3:00 PM | Fairy Tale Patterns – Winter fairy tales from around the world, told by Sabine Kolbe (ErzählZeit)

4:00 PM | Christmas carol singing
