70 years of the Berlin Radio Children's Choir
On Friday, 26 December 2025, at 3:30 p.m., the Konzerthaus Berlin invites you to a very special festive event: Christmas carol singing to mark the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Radio Children's Choir. In the traditional Great Hall on Gendarmenmarkt, old and new Christmas carols from all over the world will ring out – full of splendour, warmth and joy.

In addition to the Berlin Radio Children's Choir, the Canta Chiara Choir and the Georg Friedrich Händel Chamber Orchestra will also be performing.
Under the musical direction of Carsten Schultze, a varied programme will unfold, capturing the Christmas spirit in all its facets – from delicate choral sounds to festive orchestral music.
The concert will be accompanied instrumentally by Matthias Suschke (organ), Maria Grimm (piano) and Anna Maria Fitzenreiter (harp). Together they will create a musical celebration that touches the heart and soul and connects generations.
