An unusual look at fibres and materials
What makes wood so resilient, how are fibres turned into foam, and were aeroplane parts really built from cellulose? Alexander Helmbrecht and Felicitas von Usslar from the Technical University of Munich offer exciting insights into materials research.
As part of Berlin Science Week, a two-hour workshop will be held at the Haus des Papiers, aimed at all wood and paper enthusiasts, providing new insights into everyday research and the leap from laboratory experiments to industrial processes.
