As the host city of the European Football Championship in the summer of 2024, Berlin will play host to an expected 1.5 million fans. As part of this major soccer event, the Brandenburg Gate will be transformed into the world's largest soccer goal for four weeks from June 14 to July 14. The German capital offers an extensive program from fan mile to opening concert and a with unique backdrop for unforgettable summer evenings together.
In addition to five other matches, Berlin will be the venue for the final of the Men's European Football Championship. Kulturprojekte Berlin is already in the preparatory stages to accompany the 2024 soccer summer with a special Berlin program for four weeks.
In front of the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin will roll out the grass and turn the Straße des 17. Juni into a playing field, a pop-up park, an atmospheric meeting place for soccer fans, Berliners and guests.
Together with the Senate Department for Sport and UEFA, Kulturprojekte Berlin is planning the official Berlin Fan Zone and an atmospheric citywide soccer event.
