Since 2013, the orchestra has been performing in changing ensembles for all walks of life. Its repertoire surprises audiences with pieces from the Balkans, Klezmer, Tango, Cajun, as well as Italian and Spanish waltzes and Latin American pasodobles. Sitting still is impossible.

Since 2013, the Blackbird Café Orchestra has regularly cultivated the forgotten tradition of home music. It is a special experience when this diverse ensemble gives one of its rare concerts and revives the definition of hand-crafted music.
In 2023, the ensemble once again brought the Passionskirche to life at the Fete de la Musique. Concentrated musical energy from the Balkans, Klezmer, Sinti, waltzes, and folk-rock is unleashed, motivating the audience to move.
