Artists from a sustainability association show how useful and unique items can be created from discarded materials.
Museums sometimes have a lot of paper and cardboard left over - high-quality sheets of paper, old brochures and posters or discarded cardboard passe-partouts. In this free creative offer, they are rescued from the waste paper container and turned into unique notebooks, gift bags or other beautiful things.
"Upcycling" means imaginatively reusing discarded and sorted items instead of throwing them away.
Under the guidance of experienced upcycling artists from the Berlin-based Kunst-Stoffe e. V. association, participants of all ages can create unique, sustainable items using simple means. A creative, environmentally friendly contribution to the spring cleaning season. And a great opportunity to breathe new life into old paper and cardboard.
