brings “Night/Core” to Germany in spring 2026
Au/Ra's music is as dazzling as her biography and her stage name. Behind the name Au/Ra is German singer and musician Jamie Lou Stenzel, who was born in Ibiza and spent her childhood and youth on the island of Antigua. Her voice is big and pure pop, her aesthetics and lyrics dark, and her music ranges from wavy, atmospheric electropop to euphoric dance music.
On “Darkside” by DJ Alan Walker, for which Au/Ra sings the lead vocals, the singer shows in a captivating way that this genre can also be given depth. However, this smash hit, which will soon reach 800 million streams on Spotify alone, is just one of many highlights in her discography, which she often fills with creative collaborations.
The powerful EP “Night/Core” has just been released, with a title that perfectly captures Au/Ra's genre. Three songs, all of which develop a rousing energy. The hyperpop-inspired “CRACK!”, with its addictive chorus; the atmospheric “high fantasy,” which surprisingly borrows a few emo guitars for a short time; and the playful “SWAMP,” which sounds like old gaming consoles and shows a new side of Au/Ra.
At the end of May, Au/Ra will be on tour with these and other songs, bringing her versatile and highly melodic sound to the stage.
