We at KunstHofKöpenick have made it our mission to provide a stage for completely new and (as yet) unknown projects—remember the stunning performance by Nada & the Band in 2025.

Now, in 2026, they’ll be performing their first full-length concert—albeit in the morning—

PetrOl

PetrOl – in the world of colors, warmth and harmony blend with depth, thoughtfulness, and individuality.

It is therefore no coincidence that Petra Uhle and Oliver Bostroem not only merge their first names for their current project, but also use them to describe the essential components of their musical direction.

In their very own unique way, they present sparsely orchestrated musical gems, carried by acoustic and electric guitars with German lyrics that serve as a charismatic reflection of their equally eventful life and musical experiences.

As seasoned musicians, the two Berliners have been performing in a wide variety of groups for several decades. And we know both of them well here at the KunstHof, don’t we?

As the daughter of Burkhard Lasch, Petra developed a special knack for choosing the right words for music at an early age; after her vocal training, she successfully incorporated this into her own projects (including Pardon) and also performed as a solo artist with her own program.

As a trained musician, Oliver is a well-known figure in the scene, not least thanks to his intricate guitar work in bands such as Die Zöllner, Groovebusters, Bürger Lars Dietrich, IC Falkenberg, Ulla Meinicke, Norbert Leisegang of Keimzeit, Kai Hawaii of Extrabreit, radioeins Popslits live, Dean Berlin, Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin, and many others.

And so it is perhaps the passage of time that now brings the two together as a duo in a stripped-down, purist form, allowing them to focus on the essence of music and lyrics, of mind and gut, of loud and soft. Without any frills or hidden agendas, PetrOl presents itself today and captivates with a program of closeness, intimacy, and fragile moments that touches and enthralls their ever-growing audience.

With a blend of emotion and passion, they create their own special moments that describe life in all its intricate and wonderful facets.
