An immersive theater project inspired by the works of Isaac Asimov and Stanisław Lem.

The play is set in a near future in which androids have become a natural part of society. They live among humans as life partners, domestic servants, entertainers, and economic experts – and begin to assume key positions in politics and business. Some even develop deep emotional bonds with humans.

Through constant interaction with the androids, humans change, becoming human-machines, as it were – while the androids, in turn, increasingly develop human traits and complex personalities.

A radical activist group, FRAM (Fight Robots Activists Movement), opposes this development. With growing aggression, they fight against the spread of the androids.

An enigmatic monk observes the events – but perhaps he, too, is an android.

The play raises key questions:

• Can androids feel true emotions and empathy?

• Is the current power relationship between humans and machines sustainable? • How are humans changing through constant interaction with machines?

"ANDROID CITY" is an immersive theater experience – featuring live performances, video animations, and music.
