To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, the Anne Frank Zentrum is organizing a public guided tour of the exhibition "All about Anne" on 8 May. The tour will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. in German with translation into German Sign Language (DGS).

80 years ago, on May 8, 1945, the Second World War and the National Socialist terror system came to an end.

The Second World War claimed 60 million lives worldwide. Six million Jews were murdered by the National Socialists. Anne Frank's father Otto was the only one of the eight people in hiding from the Secret Annex to survive the war. The Anne Frank Center is commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War with two guided tours of the Berlin exhibition.

The exhibition "All about Anne" at the Anne Frank Center provides insights into the life story of Anne Frank. It provides a biographical approach to the history of National Socialism and encourages visitors to engage with anti-Semitism in the past and present.

The tour makes a connection between Anne Frank's diary entries and anti-Semitism, racism and other forms of discrimination in the present day.

The tour is aimed at adults and is held in German with interpretation into German Sign Language (DGS).
