PETRI Berlin opened a year ago, and since then, countless visitors have been able to explore Berlin’s archaeology in an interactive way while also learning a great deal about the early history of our city.

To mark the occasion, PETRI is hosting a big event weekend on June 27 and 28, featuring free admission and many free guided tours and activities.

Open workshop in the restoration department. Take a look inside the open restoration workshop and chat with the restorers.

Open workshop at the Berlin State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments’ artifact reception. Get an exclusive look inside the artifact reception workshop at the Berlin State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments and learn what the office excavates and how these finds are handled.

LIVE restoration at PETRI. At the workshop table in the exhibition, a budding expert from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences will demonstrate how restoration works. The workshop table is located in front of the restoration workshop on the 2nd floor. Just drop by—no registration required, anytime!
