The trio KERN KLANG continues the legacy of the trio KERN in a slightly modified form. The trio combines composition and free improvisation, exploring the sonic possibilities of their instruments.

The individual musical language of the instrumentalists, as well as their interactive interplay, are the two pillars of this trio. Vojta Drnek, Edith Steyer, and Yorgos Dimitriadis are three artists rooted in the European improvisation scene who impress with their individual approaches to their instruments and their sensitive interplay.
All three musicians have released solo albums.
