Bärchen, nicknamed ‘Bär’, is a teddy bear and over 100 years old. His eyes have seen a lot.

Bär. Ein Zeitzeuge erzählt
He was there during very beautiful moments, but also during very terrible ones, such as when the walls shook because of the bombs. Or when Irene's grandmother was deported.
Until now, Bär has preferred to avoid these memories. Now he enters rooms that have been closed for a long time, where important stages of his biography are brought back to life with shadow play and sound.
A documentary theatre piece about the life of a Jewish child under Nazi dictatorship, told from the perspective of a teddy bear.
