Safe and thoughtful use of artificial intelligence in everyday family life
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a futuristic concept: it often accompanies people in their daily lives without them even realizing it. Whether it's online shopping, voice assistants, navigation apps, or image editing: AI is everywhere.
But how does it actually work, and what opportunities, as well as risks, does it present for everyday use? Especially for families?
In this course, participants will learn about various AI formats and discover where and how AI is already impacting everyday life. Using illustrative examples, the course explains how artificial intelligence systems are trained and what potential sources of error and ethical questions are involved.
Another focus is on the conscious and data protection-compliant use of AI applications. Together, participants will explore how to protect personal data, use AI tools effectively, and take responsibility—for themselves and their families.
This course is designed for anyone interested, without prior technical knowledge, who wants to understand what AI means in practice and how to use it safely, critically, and effectively in everyday life.
No prior knowledge is required.
