Open House at Heritage Day 2025

Many people are familiar with the International Congress Centre Berlin (ICC) – from the outside. On Heritage Day 2025, all interested Berliners, visitors to the city and architecture and monument enthusiasts will once again have the opportunity to visit the interior of this futuristic landmark of the city after many years of closure.

Visitors can explore the disused ICC and the roof terrace with free time slot tickets. In addition to striking details such as the original neon signage and objects by Frank Oehring, rooms that have been inaccessible until now will be opened for the first time in 2025, including Hall 2, the second-largest event hall in the building.

The paid programme includes architectural tours and guided tours with contemporary witnesses such as Frank Oehring, videos and film screenings, sporting events such as a running club, yoga and cycling sessions, as well as lightsaber workshops and show fights by the Saber Academy Berlin and FlensSabers.

Come and see for yourself and discover the stylish world of the 1970s.

Every detail of the total work of art by architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte (opened in 1979) has been preserved in outstanding condition.
