Zwischen Licht und Last (Between Light and Burden)

The exhibition “Between Light and Burden” shows works by artists who bring silence into our field of vision, a kind of pictorial equivalent for a sensation that actually belongs to the sense of hearing.

Within the exhibition, Alexander Camaro's paintings and Jenny Wiegmann-Mucchi's sculptures form the starting point of an imaginary line of painting and sculpture that, contrary to expressionist and neo-expressionist traditions, attaches independent value to restraint and silence up to the present day.
