“Confidence” – the new album by Nils Wülker
With "Zuversicht," the "sonically brilliant trumpeter and exceptional composer" Nils Wülker releases his 15th album – and for the first time, one with a German title. Eleven original compositions, recorded in the legendary Hansa Studio Berlin, reflect the vitality and optimism promised by the title.

Accompanied by an international star cast – Aaron Parks (piano), Linda May Han Oh (double bass), and Greg Hutchinson (drums) – Wülker deliberately ventures out of his comfort zone. In just three and a half days, he created an organic, energetic album that sounds contemporary while simultaneously opening up new horizons.
From the tension of the opener "All Hands On Deck" to touching ballads like "Time Will Tell" and the catchy "Second Nature," an impressive musical journey unfolds.
This special lineup will also be heard live: Nils Wülker will tour with Linda May Han Oh, Greg Hutchinson, and, initially, Omer Klein on piano.
