VEGETABLE ENTERTAINMENT

Let me say it right away: An evening with the ZUCCHINI SISTAZ is far more than an ordinary concert – it's an event!

In their fourth stage program, "False Eyelashes – Real Music," the three artists from the swing metropolis of Münster impressively demonstrate how to turn three musicians into a big band.

The multi-instrumentalists' diverse repertoire includes swing, jazz, chansons, and couplets, presented with first-class, polyphonic close harmony singing and virtuoso instrumental playing. The Zucchini Sistaz sing in three parts in the finest close harmony style, just like the Andrews Sisters of old.

The unique thing about these three young ladies: They also play their own instruments, forming their own back-up band on guitar, double bass, trumpet, trombone, and all sorts of other gadgets. This makes them both a rarity and a curiosity – in the best sense of the word.

With fishnet stockings and false eyelashes, these three sassy ladies catapult us into the golden age of swing. They're not opening a musical museum, though, but serving up luscious swing! Because they're the women themselves: With the elegance of yesterday and the self-confidence of today, this band plays as if there were no tomorrow.

The three spice up their almost acrobatic performances with a never-ending joy of playing, endless passion for their audience, a healthy dose of charm, and the occasional dash of situational comedy.

The ZUCCHINI SISTAZ are: Tina Werzinger – vocals, guitar, ukulele; Jule Balandat – vocals, double bass; Sinje Schnittker – vocals, wind instruments, accordion, clarinet, xylophone, and much more.
