Performance
In this performance, objects appear playful, like something from a fairground – but nothing is as it seems. Delaine Le Bas revisits Zigeuner Sauce, first a drawing from 2017, now reimagined through presence, protest, and persistence. A farewell and a confrontation unfold simultaneously – a reckoning with identity, erasure, and exhaustion.

Hypocrisy everywhere...« The work, like its maker, refuses to be silenced. »Zigeuner Sauce is here again & this time they’re not going quietly..............« What seems still is shifting. What appears fixed is fraying. Ghost like yet insistent, this performance asks: what remains visible, and who decides? A haunting exploration of what we carry, what we bury, and what refuses to disappear.
