Berlin, Germany and the world clean up
September 20, 2024 marks World Cleanup Day, a global initiative where people around the world come together to combat environmental pollution. It is the world's largest bottom-up movement to eliminate waste. Everyone can take part. In 2023, over 19 million people from more than 190 countries took part in World Cleanup Day. Through their joint waste collection campaigns, they set an impressive example for a clean, healthy and waste-free environment.
