
Flower ecology workshop for primary school classes (grades 1-6)
On a group walk through the garden, the students embark on a search: Which flowering plants will they find? What is a pollinator?
They learn about the structure of a flower, describe special identifying characteristics, and understand how flowers attract insects.
They learn about the structure of a flower, describe special identifying characteristics, and understand how flowers attract insects.
Finally, they create flower arrangements, napkin flowers, and a "From Blossom to Fruit" poster for the classroom. The workshop takes place outdoors.
The children need weather-appropriate clothing and adequate sun protection.
