Trio al-Andalus
Music that transcends boundaries and touches hearts: Trio al-Andalus combines the elegance of a classical string trio with the warm tones of Arabic tradition, the fiery rhythms of Spain and the free-flowing elements of jazz. This encounter gives rise to a sound that allows folk music from the Mediterranean region to shine in a new light – full of depth, wisdom and surprising lightness.
In their programme Was uns verbindet (What connects us), the three musicians take the audience on a journey from the inside out. Soulful melodies interweave with fiery improvisations, personal stories with universal experiences. Joy and pain, life and death – all of this becomes audible and tangible, revealing what connects us humans across all boundaries.
An evening that not only fills the air with music, but also with a shared longing for closeness, understanding and humanity.
