Tours have taken Wenzel through France, Austria, America, Nicaragua and Turkey. He has performed on stage with Arlo Guthrie, Randy Newman, Ferhat Tunc, Konstantin Wecker and many other singers. He has survived honors from the GOLDEN AMIGA, the Heinrich Heine Prize to the German Kleinkunstpreis, the Ehrenantenne of the Belgian Radio, eight times the German Record Critics' Award and the annual awards of the Liederbestenliste!
In 2023, the documentary film "Wenzel: lLaubt nie, was ich singe" was released by Arsenal Film and the new solo live CD "Noch verschont von großen Kriegen" on the Matrosenblau label.
