A family saga
The Wolf family was characterized by committed activists in the resistance against fascism, in their belief in socialism, and in the struggle for a stance toward their state.
While the men made films, treated people, wrote books, or helped establish the Stasi, the women were refugees from the Republic, spies, those under surveillance, those persecuted, communists, fighters, and accomplices. WE DID NOT LOVE EVERYONE delves into the private to understand the political.
On the occasion of Konrad Wolf's 100th birthday in October 2025, Eleganz aus Reflex examines the personal motives for taking a stand for or against a cause and the consequences of these decisions on the lives of others.
