Painting, performance, multi-media installations, dance and photography by leading contemporary artists from Myanmar in Berlin. A forgotten conflict has raged in Myanmar since a brutal military coup in 2021.

We are the seeds
“We are the seeds” is an inspiring exhibition by 20 Myanmar artists in exile. Through their painting, photography, comics, films, performance and sound art, they are taking part in their country's democratic revolution.
The artists also represent the empowerment of women, the LGTBQI movement and ethnic minorities over the past decade.
Together they outline a hopeful future for a democratic, inclusive and peaceful Myanmar.
