The Water Forum provides a space for direct dialogue as part of a multi-stage participatory process.

At thematic roundtables, people from politics, government, the professional sector, and academia discuss the future of water in Berlin and Brandenburg with citizens, drawing on contributions from a participatory collection.

The contributions to the collection reflect what matters to people in their everyday lives:

  • How should gardens be designed in times of water scarcity?
  • How can cities become more climate-resilient?
  • And what role do sidewalk rain barrels and the removal of trash from our waterways play?

Together, participants will identify which concerns should be incorporated into policy measures such as the Water Master Plan (MPW).
